SUMMARY:Chili Dump and Blanket Making
DESCRIPTION:The Peter Wollner American Legion Auxiliary\, Unit 288 is inviting all Auxiliary members and community members to join us at the Cedarburg Legion Post on the corner of Hilbert & Portland\, Saturday\, January 20th for Chili at 11:30 AM and fleece-tied blanket making in the afternoon.   If Chili is not your thing\, then just come for blanket making between 12:30 & 1:00 PM. \n\n\n\nPlease e-mail Kathie Bruhn kbruhn9337@aol.com  or call 414-507-3262 for further information regarding lunch contributions or Carol Szudrowitz 262-377-6792.  We are also encouraging those with sharp cloth cutting scissors to bring them along.  The chilly winter is coming and the veterans in the transitional programs at Zablocki VA Medical Care Center on 55th and National Av.  will need the blankets for warmth and comfort.  These veterans are in programs for PTSD\, alcohol recovery\, and other service related issues. \nThe American Legion Auxiliary Mission is as follows:  In the spirit of Service not Self\, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support the American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans\, military\, and their families\, both at home and abroad. Come .. enhance the lives of our veterans on Saturday\, January 20th  at the Cedarburg American Legion.
